Day 1:
3pm departure from Nassau on Cat Island Air to The Bight Airport. 3.45pm approx. arrival in Cat Island. Short taxi ride to the Fernandez Bay Village. Check-in to a cottage. The front desk agent will be happy to inform you on all activities and excursions, such as snorkelling, bone and reef fishing, rental cars and things to see in Cat Island, such as Father Jerome’s one man Monastery on Mount Alvernia, the highest elevation in the Bahamas (206 feet or 68 m above sea level). The beach invites you for many walks and swims at any time of the day. Kayaks are available to paddle out on the calm sea. The most stunning sunsets present themselves at this peaceful, white sandy beach during the cocktail hours.
Day 4:
8.15am transfer to the airport. Please arrange this with the front desk before breakfast. 9.30am Departure flight to Nassau on Cat Island Air. 10.15am arrive Nassau at the domestic section. Once you have your luggage, proceed to Southern Air ticket counter for your onward flight at 12 noon to North Eleuthera. Check-in with Southern Air. 12.20pm arrive in North Eleuthera. Take taxi to the ferry ($5.00 p.p) and then the ferry to Harbour Island ($5.00 p.p.) and another taxi to the Coral Sands Hotel ($5.00 p.p. again). Check-in at the Coral Sands Hotel. Soak up the sun on this famous pink sand beach and picturesque 300y old town. Diving, snorkelling, horseriding and golf cart rentals are some of the favourite activities on the island.
Day 7:
11am take a taxi from the hotel to the ferry. Then take the ferry to North Eleuthera and another taxi to the airport. The same charges apply as on arrival. Check-in at the counter of Southern Air. 12.45pm departure to Nassau. 1.05pm arrive Nassau at the domestic terminal. There is also an early morning flight and a late afternoon flight that one could take.
