Bird watching

The Islands of the Bahamas are home to some of the most exotic and interesting birds in the world. Waterfowl and wading birds are the types most commonly found throughout the islands. Some of the birds you are likely to encounter are: a variety of egrets and herons, Bahama pintails, ruddy ducks and Caribbean coots. But remember to keep an eye on the sky, or you might miss the beautiful ospreys and belted kingfishers.
