Island: The Berry Islands
"Carriearl" now a Boutique Hotel was originally the Great Harbour Cay holiday retreat of “Mr. Celebrity”, Earl Blackwell, founder of the Celebrity Register and his friend and companion, the diminutive Eugenia Sheppard, who was the fashion and women’s editor of the New York Herald-Tribune. They wrote three romantic novels in the house and many of the second home owners and local people still have very fond memories of them both.
