What to do

For gentle, family-style rides aboard predictable steeds, saddle up at Happy Trails Stables, where you can enjoy the totally different perspective of the New Providence countryside. Daily tours will take you to one of the more remote areas of the island of Nassau. You'll discover silent woods and deserted stretches of beach. No experience is required. You will receive brief instruction in basic riding, then set off on a leisurely guided tour through the woods and onto the beach. Two rides a day and roundtrip transportation from hotels is provided. The trail is approximately one and a half hours. Total cost is $110 per person, including transportation; $80 without. There is a $20 roundtrip charge for non-riders. Reservations are required. Children from 12 years only. Weight limit is 200 lbs. One person per horse.
