The Bahamas Fly-in programme is designed to introduce pilots, their families and their friends to the beauty of The Bahamas while also introducing them to other pilots who enjoy island-hopping. Bahamas Fly-ins cater to both experienced and veteran island-hopping enthusiasts, as well as flying associations from around the world. Fly-ins are held the first weekend of every month. (Includes travel on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.)

Fly-in Format
A full pilot briefing will be given at the airport of departure by your Bahamas lead pilot. We select an FBO along the east coast, where your Bahamas lead pilot will answer any questions. Then your Bahamas lead pilot will walk you through all the paperwork required to enter The Islands of the Bahamas.

Upon arrival in The Bahamas, our tourism escort will assist you with Bahamas Customs clearance. On receipt of your registration fee, a complete itinerary will be sent to you.

Participation Price
A registration fee of $40 covers the plane, special Bahamas Fly-in T-shirts, a Bahamas Fly-in bag, a Bahamas escort and all the details about flying to The Bahamas. All forms will be provided for Bahamas Customs and US Customs: maps and charts, approach plates, frequencies, etc.

All water and sports activities are listed with prices for participants to choose from. They are available for early booking prior to your departure.

Sample Schedule

Day One
Leave host airport at 10am for The Islands of the Bahamas. Check in at host hotel, begin your customised itinerary for fishing, scuba diving, boating, shopping, sightseeing, casino entertainment, or just relaxing on the beach. Welcome cocktail reception on the first evening.

Day Two
Island tours, sporting activities and shopping, then return for a scheduled, themed evening reception.

Day Three
Return to host airport.
