Get to the Bahamas by cruise line

The Islands of the Bahamas have long been a favourite stop off point for cruise ships. The main port of Nassau often has at least one giant vessel moored at the quayside, while the shops in Bay Street are busy with cruise passengers keen to hunt out the best tax-free bargains. Cruising is big business in the Caribbean and The Bahamas’ position, just off the Florida coastline, makes it an ideal port of call for the main cruise operators. Nassau is the most popular cruise port in The Bahamas, receiving more than one million passengers every year.

Some of the major cruise lines that stop in The Bahamas include:

Carnival Cruise Lines
Celebrity Cruises
Costa Cruises
Norwegian Cruise Line
Regent Seas Seven Cruises
Royal Caribbean International
Silversea Cruises
