Feel the freedom
Eleuthera means freedom in Greek, and that’s exactly the feeling washing over you when you’re here. It was named by English Pilgrims who settled here in 1648 to enjoy their own liberty. Once world famous for its pineapples, there are still acres of rolling hill plantations, while the edge of this historical wonderland is fringed with sublime pink and white sand beaches.
